Teeth Whitening
Wanting a whiter and brighter smile is one of the most common desires among many people in the world. Due to this want, it is common for people to turn to over-the-counter whitening toothpaste and whitening strips to achieve outstanding results. Although these products can help maintain a white smile post-treatment, they can’t give a lasting white smile.
At Horizon Dental, we do what we can to make receiving care as convenient for our patients as possible. One way we do this is through take-home professional teeth whitening. We offer our patients a take-home whitening kit of high-grade dental bleach and custom-made whitening trays. The bleach used to whiten teeth contains high but safe levels of hydrogen peroxide.
We make you custom bleach trays using an impression of your teeth right here in our office. Once we have the impressions, we create 3D molds of your smile. Soft dental plastic is melted and formed over the teeth molds and left to dry, finishing the creation of your trays.
To use at-home whitening, place a small dot of dental bleach in each tooth section in the tray, place the tray into your mouth, and then ensure bleach touches the entire outer surface. Bleach is traditionally left on anywhere from 15-30 minutes but can be on longer if desired. Patients can bleach their teeth as often as they want until they reach their desired results.
We sell extra tubes of dental bleach in our office if you want to continue treatment.
Porcelain Veneers
We offer porcelain veneers as a definitive and detailed cosmetic treatment for patients who want a complete smile makeover. Veneers are thin tooth coverings made from porcelain designed to be placed on the outer surfaces of teeth to transform their appearance completely. Dental Implants
Having holes in your smile due to missing teeth can significantly change the appearance of your smile. Dental implants are both a restorative and cosmetic procedure because while it makes your smile complete once again, it also improves your oral health. An implant is a titanium screw surgically placed into the jawbone and left to grow into it to stabilize dental restoration. For single tooth replacements, dental crowns are utilized.
